These are Unicode symbols that look like fonts, not real fonts. Screen readers may read them one symbol at a time or skip them, so avoid them for anything important. Some apps, forms and games strip or replace them. Letters that a style has no version of stay plain.
Convert back to normal text
Paste text written in any of these styles. Letters and digits become plain AโZ and 0โ9. Frames and decorative symbols you added stay as they are.
Everything runs in your browser. What you type is not uploaded or saved. These styles are Unicode symbols, so how they look depends on the device and app you paste into.
One row per style
Each row shows the digits 0 to 9 in one style, then your own number in that style. Copy takes the number you typed. Bold digits are ๐, double-struck are ๐, sans are ๐ฃ, sans bold are ๐ญ and monospace are ๐ท. Circled digits โ , black circled โถ and wide digits ๏ผ are also here, along with superscript ยน and subscript โ.
Italic, script, gothic and the other letter-only styles have no digits, which is why they are missing from this table.
Where numbers go wrong
Fancy digits are not numbers to a computer. A spreadsheet, a phone field or a payment form will not read โ as 1. Search will not find them, and a screen reader may read out a long Unicode name for each one. Use them for decoration only, such as a countdown or a list marker, and write real numbers for dates, prices and phone numbers.
Common questions
Can I use these numbers in a spreadsheet?
No. They are text symbols, not numbers, so formulas will not add them up or sort them as numbers.
Why do the circled numbers stop at 9 here?
This table converts one digit at a time, and a digit like 10 would be two circles. Unicode does have circled numbers up to 20 in the Enclosed Alphanumerics block, but they are single symbols, not a digit style.
What about the letters in my number?
Letters are converted too where a style has them; otherwise they stay as typed.

Discord and Instagram Text Formatting: Markdown vs Unicode Styles
Discord has built-in markdown for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, headers, spoilers and code. Instagram does not, which is why people use Unicode styles. Compare both and see the caveats.
